Day One Hundred Twenty Nine: Pork Burger

We still had some ground pork leftover from the would-be steamed pork turned sloppy joes, so I put them to use.
I kept it way simple.
I needed to eat something as soon as possible when I got home from work. I mixed the pork with salt, pepper, a touch of sugar, red onion and parsley, and shaped it into a patty.
I charred it nicely, then served it on white bread with spicy mustard.
It was good, though obviously not the most inventive thing we’ve done.
As my friend Dao would say, it was dirty pirate cooking, to be sure.
It hit the spot, though.
Next time, we’ll cook pork again.
Or maybe not, who knows.
