Day 122- Lemon and Thyme Chicken

January 24, 2013 by chicagogrilling365

013Fuck Pepsi, it taste nothing like Coke! I wanna take the Pepsi challenge. On TV. Live.

We got Pizza Hut the other day.Pizza Hut only carries Pepsi products like it’s the freaking 80s, I had a sip of it today and forgot how bad it is.

Well while I was starting the grill today I had a lovely chat with our bat shit crazy old lady who rents. Yes we look down on her because she is the only renter in our condo building.

She informs me that she does not care for the smell of charcoal and in fact it makes her sick. In the Summer when she has her windows open the smell goes right into her room. She also does not go to malls because she hates the smell of all the fabrics.

009She’ll have fun sleeping this Summer when everyone has their grills out, because Kurt and I are the only people in our building that grill in the Summer…

Anyway, as I said yesterday I was letting my lemon and thyme chicken marinate longer for today and today has arrived. About two years ago I realized that lemon juice and thyme on chicken is delicious. Now it is one of my favorite was to eat chicken, especially wings.

012So, with the old bat outta my way and my coals going I dropped my chicken off. About 25-30mins later my chicken was perfectly juicy and ready to eat. I sauteed a little red pepper to go with.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Coke is miles better than finest pepsi. And nothing saddens me more than hearing some one that has frowned upon the glorious smell of charcoal. Im sorry you had to endure that sort of misery.
