Day One Hundred Seventeen: Crunchy Tacos

January 19, 2013 by chicagogrilling365

013I loved taco night growing up.

I’m sure you all did as well.

You know, Tostino’s taco kits with the sauce and seasoning included.

Well, I still love that stuff, as does Jenny.

So we cooked a pound of ground beef in the cast iron skillet on the grill.

011We chopped red onion, picked cilantro leaves, diced tomatoes and scattered Mexican shredded cheese.

I never get tired of these tacos.

Especially because they remind me of taco nights back home as a kid.

Not the most inventive thing we’ve done, but oh who cares?

014We ate them quite happily.

Goodnight, guys.
