Day 114- Garlic Chicken Breast

004001Yesterday, while I was preparing day 113 I started on day 114. I used our new vacuum-sealing food saver to marinate a large split breast. I poured a garlic marinade in with one split breast, sucked out the air and sealed it.

I let it sit over night, about 20 hours.

The weather was much better than last night’s; no rain, and quite warm.

002With the coals hot, I threw the chicken on, bone side down. I like a good char on the bones. After about ten minutes I flipped it to the skin side down; I love crispy charred skin as well.

For my side I went with a small mixed green salad lightly tossed in balsamic vinaigrette. This is day five of logging in to My Fitness Pal 003and according to the program I am making great progress!

With this filling and healthy lunch clocking in at about 500 calories, I’m still on course!
