This goes out to all you pork lovers! What goes great with pork? More pork!

I went to the store today hoping Kurt would want to cook when he got home. It’s rainy and I’m tired, and just kinda want to watch TV. But he didn’t text me back in time so here I am.

I couldn’t decide what to get. Andy’s doesn’t have the best meat selection. I ended up grabbing two split chicken breasts, two skinless boneless chicken breasts and a pack of pork loin steaks.

006While walking home in the rain I made up my mind to do a BBQ pork sandwich; the bacon idea came soon after.

While the coals were getting hot I started the bacon. I really wanted onions for the sandwich but forgot to pick some up. I found a granny  smith apple in the fridge and used that instead.013

After searing the pork I topped it with the bacon, BBQ, pickled onions and was ready to chow down!
