I figured I would cook them just like any other crab claw. I ended up slightly over cooking them. I don’t know if it was the over cooking or that they just are very flavorless, but unlike blue crabs and Alaskan king crabs they had no sweetness.
Needless to say, there was a lot of dunking in butter. On the grill I tossed them in some oil and Old Bay and let them cook for 8-10 minutes. I probably should have done it for 5-7 minutes.
I’ll have to try doing it again. I tried to do some research on the crab but there wasn’t much to read, just that they are related to the Dungeness crab.
Till next time, thanks for reading!
