Day Seventy-Four: Venison Burger

I work with a guy named Tommy.
He’s a good dude.
A solid guy to sit down with for a taste of whiskey and beer.
He’s from Wisconsin originally, and has family that excel in the shooting of deer.
I don’t know much about that, really. I’ve never shot a firearm.
So when Tommy brought me some ground venison/beef mix, I was pretty excited.
I love burgers. Really, I love sandwiches of any kind. That’s been previously documented on this blog thing, so I’ll not go on and on about my love of everything between two pieces of bread.
So I chopped parsley and red onion and folded it into the ground meat, then added about a teaspoon of Worcestershire.
After I had cooked the patty for a few minutes on one side I flipped it, dropped two slices of provolone on it, covered the grill, let the cheese melt, and pulled it off.
It went on to a grilled pretzel bun with mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomato and onion.
It was really tasty, and not too gamey, since it was a deer/cow mixture.
Burgers are good.
As I’ve stated previously, vegetarianism is dumb.
‘Night, kids.
