I wanted barbecue chicken.
As I’ve previously stated, Jenny makes the most kickass BBQ wings ever. And she’s already done that for this year of grilling.
So I bought some drumsticks.
I didn’t want to get too stuffed, because one of Jenny’s regulars had given her a lot of sushi, and because she doesn’t enjoy sushi, I told her I would gladly eat it.
So I brushed one of the drumsticks with Rufus Teague’s spicy BBQ sauce and grilled it for about fifteen minutes, brushing more sauce on constantly until it was a charred, sticky mess.
