Day fourteen- American Steakhouse

We’ve made it to the two week mark!
Yay us.
In celebration of this achievement I made a classic steakhouse meal: thick bone in ribeye with homemade steak fries and a side of spinach. After a day of pampering myself with a facial and shopping, it only seemed fitting to end it with a thick hot hunk of meat… Steak.
It’s 7:00 and already dark out, but at least it’s not cold.
Before I started my coals I prepped my french fries. I cut the potatoes, cleaned them, and then let them sit in an ice bath for an hour. With the fries almost completed, I cut up some onions to grill.
I put the onions, wrapped in foil, on the grill first, but at the end I placed them directly on the grill.
After the steak was grilled I topped it with onions and a scoop of homemade Worcestershire butter. I paired my steak with a Malbec-Tempranillo wine by Urban. Not bad for $10.
A single serving of this giant plate of food was about $15 (not including the wine). Calories, don’t wanna know and I ate every last bite!
Have a great night!
